Two top 20 teams playing in a quiet arena. Lots of empty seats in Maryland, which kind of surprises me.

Maryland had a 17 point lead at one point in the first half. MSU closes it to -11 at the break. I suspect they close that gap in the second half... maybe. Both teams are good, but beatable. Going to be a dogfight for 3rd place in BT this year.

Maryland is a legit top 10 team and yes, I figured Michigan State would close the gap a little. Our loss, quite frankly, either one of our losses aren’t really an indictment of this team.

MSU definitely came back, and if they didn't miss so many makeables in the 3rd, I think they could have won. Maryland deserved to lose with that shoddy attendance for a top 10 team. They are beatable.

Up to Iowa to take down Maryland. They *can* do it, but they are also going to get pressed hard, so going to be pretty tough. Keep the half court turnovers to a minimum, and they will need a 20+ from Olsen. Stuelke needs to be involved.

Albany had a lead with 8 minutes to go in the 4th vs. LSU. LSU won by 20+. LSU is 15-0.

UNC holding a 10pt lead over Miami near end of the 3rd

Watching Nebraska vs UCLA, Nebraska hanging tough but damn is it a huge advantage to have a talented 6-7 post player, The one thing I have noticed with Betts in this game at least is when she gets interior feeds she has a tendency to bring the ball down where defenders can dig at it, That said she is such a huge mismatch on the glass.

Nebraska had the lead there for a few minutes in the second. Got Markowski on a 3rd foul, and huge advantage underneath now for UCLA.

Another top 10 team ( #1) with open seats everywhere, high and low. These games feel so *small* without people in the arena and invested. You'd think this selling point would be huge for teams like Iowa on the recruiting front, but who knows.

You would think.

91-54 UCLA and they committed 26 turnovers. Damn. They’re a handful. Any team that can clobber S Carolina the way they did is going to be tough to beat. Tired of seeing LSU and S Carolina win it. Wouldn’t mind seeing them win it.

I think they are far & away the best personally

Nebraska was doing pretty well in the first half, but got a little overwhelmed in the second. Snowballed quick.

Very curious to see if Michigan can hang with USC tonight. Should be a good one.

I think those top 5 or 6 teams are going to be the top 5 or 6 teams all the way to the end, because it seems a slightly different tier below that.( Fully expect SC to beat LSU soundly. )
I am curious if a few that people aren't talking about a lot (Texas, OSU, Tennessee) can shake things up a little.

MARKOWSKI only played 17 minutes… the game completely changed with without her being able to contribute. UCLA was obviously gonna win anyway, especially out there in LA. They are the Class of the league. But Nebraska was completely taken out of what they wanted to do. It appears to me.

Lauren Betts is 6'7"...................................................................and that's about it.
But, if you're 6'7" with any skills at all you're going to be an All-American.

She’s averaging 19-10 on 63% shooting. On the number 1 team in the country. I’d say she’s pretty good.

Not arguing that, but after watching her several times I'm saying she would be 'a nice player' at 6'3 or 6'4. Height goes much farther in the womens game vs the men.

He is truly a sh#•tty dude. And he is to unaware to realize there are very few that even support his argument. 🤷‍♂️ but hey. Guess the world needs angry bitter folks too 🙄

He’ll be by to try to entice me to crawl into the “stupid” swamp with him directly🥳

Speaking of “stupid”…..I’m still waiting for ONE person to support your claim of Audi getting 30+ EVERY game. Even your boy-toy LittleD doesn’t! 🤣 🤡

Also, you got called out on the football board…..but of course you’re too much of a pu$$y to respond.

Hilarious.

Right on Que….honestly in a sea of message board idiocy. He is too daft to understand the point of the conversation about Audi had nothing to do with scoring 30 points and everything to do with her having terrific skill and with somebody (CC) that did a better job of entering passes to her. She would score even more than 22 points a game which most everybody has agreed with.

I mean 22pts per game puts her in the top 10 in the country. Hell there are only 22 girls that score more than 20 points per game out of what 350 division one teams, times five starters, equals what? 1750 women….

That’s already elite. But as I’ve said, if he told me the sky was blue I’d ask for a second opinion.

Guess we'll just have to disagree if using your girth to establish position for 2 ft/strong hand bunnies on 85%+ of your shots is considered "terrific skill". Hopefully your beloved Twister Sisters not getting a single vote in the latest poll doesn't hurt her chances of getting POY!

Iowa State -- DNP today. Please open an ISU/Audi Crooks thread to continue any Audi Crooks discussion.

Illinois got within about 4 points, but Washington didn't lose composure and made the tough ones in the last 3 minutes, beat Illinois on the road 84-75.

Oregon is leading NW by 7 at the half.

Minnesota (13-1) vs. Wisconsin (10-3)
Get to start finding out if that 13-1 record holds any weight.

Minnesota looks great. Freshman McKinney is a find.

Nebraska down -5 at half to USC 34-39. Playing about the same as they did vs. UCLA. Had a second quarter lead and stumbled into the half. Imagine USC starts rolling in the 3rd, but we'll see. Juju with 13 so far

Later:
#24 Michigan vs. #1 UCLA
Colorado (10-2) vs. #11 TCU

Colorado coming off their 4th qtr. comeback win over then #15 WV. Two big wins in a row?

Someone mentioned they didn’t see many missed layups the other day with UCLA. I just watched two all Americans for USC, juju and then Kiki on a rebound point blank both miss layups.

Lots of good young guards, freshman at that in the big 10. Britt Prince from Nebbie is very good and I’m hoping to get to see Silas swords from Michigan play tonight. She was out versus USC the other day.

So I’ve watched 60% of this USC/Nebraska game. The thing with these two California teams is they are big, they are physical and they just keep coming at you. They are beatable, but you gotta be resilient.

Now, as for JuJu, she is, of course, a star. With that said and I’ve said it before… She is so smooth, that’s her superpower.. She isn’t an electric athlete.. and her handles despite the insistence of the moron I interacted with on Twitter yesterday and today aren’t better than CC or as good really and she doesn’t have a game changing three-point shot.

She can, however, get her shot up inside at will, while getting mugged. Her strength and her height is a big deal. But despite her height and strength, she isn’t a particularly dynamic rebounder, and in fact her rebounding numbers are down a bit this year. Now full disclosure seven rebounds a game from the 2/3 spot is still very good.

There really is, a bizarre push by a minority of people, not “minorities“ but a minority of people to make somebody/anbody better than CC for whatever reason.

If you’re looking for somebody currently in college that plays the game like Caitlin Clark, meaning flying around the Court like her hair is on fire check out this Syla Swords for Michigan

Just saw 6-7 Betts miss a point black layup. It’s just the women’s game, I watched 60+ WNBA games last year and every team constantly missed layups. It’s not unique to us.
