She is very good, but her gravy is inside the arc. There is just a certain element that needs her to be better than CC. This Syla Swords though is going to start getting big time press she’s the real deal.

This is the first time I’ve seen her play and that Britt Prince who’s 5-11 for Nebraska and I think Ohio State & Maryland have some precocious freshman as well
 
TCU with the frog skin court. I think that's what they are going for anyway. Not a fan.

Colorado down by 11 nearing end of 3rd. This is where I turned it last week when they were down 14 to WV., so I'm staying with it for a bit longer. I imagine Iowa needs Colorado to lose this game.

If 11-2 with last two wins over teams in the top 15, Colorado would likely have hopped Iowa into the top 25, and pushed Iowa off the board.

Of course, even though they did climb back to within 5pts in the 4th quarter, TCU hit the big shots in the last minutes and iced the game . Colorado now 10-3.

Been watching this SC/Mizzou game. SC plays incredible D and will win going away but even they miss plenty of layups. 2 in a row just recently.
 
I thought the Kentucky game might be closer, given the Mississippi St record, but just goes to show that some of these big non-con records can be deceiving.

#20 California lost by 11 to Clemson (8-5)
Didn't have that game circled.

Maryland rolled Rutgers as expected.
Up to Iowa to bring them down.
 
Texas and Oklahoma pretty much tied going into the 4th. Good game. I think it's pretty interesting that Texas has only taken 5 3pt. shots through the 3 quarters (3-5).
 
The 3rd quarter in that game must have taken nearly an hour(only a slight exaggeration).

There was a nearly 15 minute replay review of a near brawl on a rebound.
Almost 60 fouls in the game.
I agree...Iowa could compete with either team.
BTW...Sahara Williams from West Waterloo, a one time recruiting target, really struggled in the game for Oklahoma.

Big ten games will start to give an indication where some teams really are. Would be interesting to see how well PSU fairs at Nebraska.

Saw that taunt to the away crowd. Same thing the other night with one of the Texas players. For all the grief CC has taken from opposing fans for her celebration cheerleading, don't much recall her ever directing a taunt to an opposing fan base. Am I forgetting?

I was reading many of the Gamehens fans are pissed that Fulwiley doesn’t play more and start quite frankly. Which I’m not sure DS deserves to be critique but I will say Raven Johnson is not much of an offensive basketball player, but she is a hell of a defender. She is not WNBA material, however.

I'd say if that's what the SC fans have as problems, they don't really have any problems. They will win this game by 20+.

Caitlin never taunted an opposing crowd that I can recall.

Vanderbilt's only loss was -8 to MSU. Every other game on their soft schedule they have won handily. Getting curb-stomped by Kentucky in the 1st.
 
PSU shooting a brutal 3-19 in the 1st quarter vs. Nebraska. Gabby Elliot 0-5. (Nebraska not much better. )
 
Oklahoma up at half, but with 17 TOs against that Tennessee D. Interesting to note that a Oklahoma matched a few of the Tennessee hockey subs in the first half, keeping fresh on fresh. Wonder if that helps keep their legs in the 4th.

Oh look, Paige Bueckers went down with a knee/ankle injury in their game. Took a terrible hit on a loose ball scuffle. Hate seeing it. Also, like most thought, only a matter of time.--- Don't think it's serious.

Didn’t look good, doubt it’s season ending but I’d be shocked if she didn’t miss time

She iced the game vs. Illinois, helping them complete the comeback win. Minnesota (now 15-1) with five players in double figures.

It is truly remarkable the amount of women that miss absolutely point blank shots! It’s everyone! And quite frankly Iowa needs to keep taking care of business, but we’ve been pretty hard on this team. Based on what I’ve seen out of Michigan State and Tennessee, they are very good teams & we were as good as both. And I anticipate us getting better and better… Today of course will be a good litmus test.
 
Nearly choked a 19 pt. second half lead. In a way, would have felt good to see another team get done like Iowa by Tennessee, but glad to see Tennessee choke the final possession. Had an open look.

Anyone see the clip of Jennie Baranczyk playing on scout team in the Oklahoma shoot-around? Not typical for a coach, and pretty cool. She's a good one. Team plays fast.
