MSU winning is probably what Iowa needs, but an MSU loss makes a trip to the Rose Bowl a far greater possibility in the event Iowa doesn't win the CCG and goes 12-1. Either way, you still need to take a shower after the game.

As for LSU-Alabama, since Ole Miss lost, I'm not sure it matters. LSU winning probably is easier but how are you going to keep Alabama ranked in front of any undefeated teams when their loss is to another team that has lost 3 games?

If we want a way to move up in the rankings we want all undefeated teams ahead of us to lose. Alabama losing would be good because that would give them 2 losses and eliminate them from playoff contention. Good thing TCU got destroyed today so we should at least jump 1 spot if not a few more by nights end.

Nebraska. Yes we want to face a high up MSU team in the B1G championship, but if we end up playing OSU, which is far more likely, we need to be ranked higher for the Rose Bowl. And yeah, we need the teams ahead of us to lose.

And we want LSU. Get Alabama out of there. 1 SEC team is better than 2.

That's odd. I'm not betting my house on any regular season games. I've waiting to get a second mortgage in case Iowa qualifies for the CFB playoff (cause I'd have to do that right and I wasn't planning on it in August).
