Nope....this one's over. Nebraska doesn't have the bats to come back. That 5th inning with 2 outs was a killer

4 ERs maybe...
2 runs this game on bombs by 6 and 7 (I think) in lineup?
But, I will give them credit they have managed to win games on their schedule..
I'm wondering if the RPI needs a revamp...jfc.

Congrats on the series win. Heller definitely has Erstads number.
We are unfortunately stuck with Erstad. It could be worse. But overall, he’s a mediocre head coach. Our only hope is MLB comes calling again.

RPI at 67 now...I see UC Irvine has a top 50 Rpi now. Still have rpi killing games on the schedule unfortunately.

Warren Nolan predictor has Iowa finishing 34-19 with a RPI in the mid 50s. That likely would be good enough for a bid with the impressive series wins Iowa is racking up.

The game SHOULD BE tied 1-1.
Just can't make those silly errors and expect to win baseball games.
Grant Junkins pitches 7 complete innings and is pulled from the game. He gives up only 1 earned run thru those 7 innings.
