This I believe. However, I have heard from numerous friends in Nebraska that the waiting list has become uncomfortably short. No way in hell Riley lasts if he has a bad season next year. And sounds like the AD's ass is burning from his seat.Omaha/Lincoln businesses will buy leftover tix just like in the Callahan years.

100 percent true no matter what they say.I've heard the same thing..that if it were actually dependent on fans buying tickets it would have been over long ago.
I realize someone paid for the tickets but there were a lot of empty seats in the upper deck today.100 percent true no matter what they say.
Yeah it they are still technically sellouts but there were a few times in the Calahan era that businesses bought them up at the last second to keep the streak alive.I realize someone paid for the tickets but there were a lot of empty seats in the upper deck today.
No, people will just stop caring about it after it's been 30-something years since the program has won a championship of any kind...Wow, you guys don't miss anything! I wonder if they'll put an asterisk next to the record someday.

Not really earlier this spring they were running ads on television they had about 3000 available, they also took about 1500 seats in the end zone this year, the University states they wanted to give people more room but I highly doubt that story. It will not end. They have too long of a waiting list for season tickets.
Still in little brother's head I see. Better enjoy this season hogeyes, cause it will be the only one you get to enjoy after it.

I'm confused. Are you saying that this isn't true?
In my opinion, records should be about winning games, not filling seats. If yoi get excited about a sellout record that was just paid for by businesses then that's pretty pathetic. But you just lost to Northwestern at home...so I guess I shouldn't be surprised about you talking smack about a record that any other fanbase of a pathetic team would care about.
Interpretation for the stupid...nobody cares who pays for your tickets. Your team sucks. Go away.
