-avoiding the 7 point move/big throws
-scramble better
-quit getting ridden all the damn time
-be more offensive

It won’t be close. Many of your tougher guys are right in Penn State’s wheelhouse. Hawks are still very tough, but they can’t make a lot of hay in the lightweights to offset the back half disadvantage

This is where Flo, PSU fans etc will say that Iowa Fans are over on HR thinking they have a shot. I think a real good dual for Iowa would mean winning 4 matches. They are just too good up and down the lineup.

I can’t wait for Ok State - Iowa. That one will be bonkers as there are about 6-7 great matchups

They may have the best top to bottom lineup of all time, and I wouldn't be surprised if they break their own point record from last year. There is a path, but it requires near perfection from the Hawks and some slip ups by PSU. I'd be happy if Iowa can take four matches.

Concur. And even the SVN and Davis matches that Neb won could easily go the other way the next time around. Both wrestlers got out of sync once they fell behind, especially Davis. If Davis would have taken his time and clawed back vice trying the big move I think he had Van Dee. It seemed like he underestimated Van Dee or took him for granted, and I don't see him making the same mistake against Drake. It's going to be a war. For Parco, he can't wrestle like he did tonight. That was great defense but he's going to have to get a TD or two to beat SVN. I don't think we'll lose as bad as Neb, but clearly the over/under has to be somewhere around 2.5 or 3. And to win 4 would be huge.

No we don't. We match up worse than Nebraska at the weights they won or were competitive in and PSU has studs at our better weights. 1 or 2 most likely, 3 if we get lucky.

Iowa has a chance at 33,49,57,74,97. I don’t see how we win at 25,41,65,84,285

We have seen improvements at 25, but he’s not on the level of LL. 33 Ayala has beat him and should again, but Davis can also win that match. 41, just hoping we keep it to a dec. 49, Parco not getting a TD against ISU or Illinois doesn’t give me confidence that he will get on for the win against SVN. 57, we need Teemer to win but TK is very good and can win that match. 65, Cali is great but MM is crazy good. I think Cali can keep it at a dec. 74 is actually the match I’m most interested in. For whatever reason I feel PK can go with him. 84, will be close but it’s CS he’s a 4 timer for a reason. 97, I think we win but Barr can win that match. 285, sorry but DK is to big and to good. I hope it’s closer then last year but Iowa could lose all 10 on the worse night and they could win 5 on the best. My guess is we win 2-3 matches with it at PSU.

I think Drake will win easily. Maybe not by many points, but he’s too savvy for Davis
