O'Grady is a decent option against 75% of the teams Iowa will play. Top 10 teams will expose her lack of quickness. Hannah will outrun most posts in transition but doesn't seem to have a back to the basket or face up game yet. I think the portal is needed as well for this team to get back to the FF. If Clark, Martin, Gabby, Hannah, & O'Grady are the starters...Who is rebounding for the 2nd unit? They all seem to be perimeter oriented players.

Trying to find where they will replace the 27 pts/game Czinano and Warnock provided. Certainly seems it will need to be by committee & a bench player or two stepping up.
The fact is Iowa lost the championship on an anomaly. Jasmine Carson was averaging 8.8 ppg on the season and 2.2 in the tournament. She comes off the bench and leads the team in scoring shooting 83% from 3 and 88% overall when she shot 35 and 42 respectively all season. If one random bench contributor doesn't go off Iowa probably wins the title going away even with the BS officiating. You lose 2 good players in Monika and Mckenna but this coaching staff has shown the ability to coach up role players. I think they'll be fine. I think Molly Davis needs to be a bigger part of the picture. That girl can ball when given the opportunity.
I was really proud of Molly Davis and felt she did really well out there against LSU. I’m afraid against some of these more physical teams she’s not quite strong enough though. I don’t think she can take the beating on the dribble drive like CC does. I’d love for her to prove me wrong though 🙂
She's also a brat who carries a crown around with her like my little niece.

Stuelke’s per 40/min stats are sensational in terms of both rebounds and points. It’s why she won the 6th POY — very deserving. O’grady may never be as efficient as Czinano but she is the best rim protector on the team which tbh has been this teams Achilles heel for awhile.
HS + AOG can certainly combine for 25 pts a game (something like 15 from Hannah, 10 from O’Grady, I’d hope). I also think Syd will contribute pts wise in Warnock’s absence. She is our best driver after CC. About equal to KM but with three fewer yrs experience. Also a great rebounder and excellent free pt shooter. I’m hopeful she can be a steady contributor of a few pts a game.
Just repeating what is out there. My sincerest apologies as i assumed since she wasn't eligible to receive some awards it was based on rumors and certain leaps of logic. If her gpa wasn't the reason she was ineligible to receive those awards I'm curious as to what was the reason.
She wasn’t eligible for a few awards such as one of the All American ones because you need at least a 2.0 gpa. I believe someone posted academic standards for Iowa and NCAA athletes. NCAA requires a 1.8 and Iowa requires a 2.0 I believe. LSU’s standards match the NCAA.
Exactly. There are multiple reasons why someone would not be allowed on these lists. We have no idea what her grades are or if they were the reason that she didn't appear.

It was the Naismith NPOY award. It was either her grades or her “character” which it could have also been. Some floated the idea that since she had been called for some taunting fouls, that dq’d her. Sounds like a BS excuse tbh. Could also have been an academic progress thing. Apparently she is still academically a sophomore after this year.
