If you ask most on this board they will tell you that Iowa is a terrible team with a terrible coach that is somehow going to have a record of -5 and 15 next year. Any player that would remotely consider Iowa (current players included) are damaged goods and will never amount to anything. Also our OL, WR, QB, DBs, LB, TE are all the worst in Div 1 athletics.

I see Yanni Karlaftis entered the portal yesterday. He would be an excellent LBer get. We have a lot of young talent, but a proven starter with a year left would be a solid pickup.

I haven’t seen it mentioned much, but I think the staff needs to bring in another RB, unless Doll and Williams are the next Tony Stewart and Nick Bell.

We saw the value of an excellent RB in this offense. I don’t see a high level Big Ten starter in the current group unless the frosh are instant high impact guys.

I actually think Jaz has that potential, he isn't elusive like Caleb was, but he is a better down hill runner IMO.

I don't see RB being a need in the portal. Xavier Williams is a big tree trunk back, Brevin is the fastest on the team, Jaz has shown he has some ability, and of course Moulton has demonstrated he can hit the hole hard. Think about the leap K2 took this year compared to last year, give them another year in the room and also see what the incoming freshman can do.

I'll be suprised if they go after a LB with our other needs. We've had 3 or 4 guys grooming for 3 years. Its their tome, and we've recruited some good looking guys the last year or two.
