OL next year?

OT question, but does anyone think that Lachey may use that medical redshirt from last season to return?

Nice to see him getting some reps. That guy’s career has been plagued with injuries
I’ve keyed in on him when he’s been in the game and I’ve thought he’s looked good. A bit undersized perhaps, but shows good feet and upper body strength. Looks like he has some of that “nasty” to him too, like Rob Bruggeman.

If Elsbury comes back, they should have really good depth at the interior line positions with him and Stephens, Pieper, Leighton Jones, Myslinksi, Borud and maybe a youngster or two. Could be similar to when they rotated Lightfoot and Sobieski at guard in 2002.

Myslinski had great HS film and high expectations coming into the program. Had very good offers, also. He certainly has potential and yes, that nasty streak was evident on his HS film.

😳. Wow! Had no idea.
I still think that there will be an issue as to where he's placed in terms of draft-positioning. Given the track record of what has happened to to Iowa's O-linemen in the past ... when they follow the advice of the coaches, it usually benefits their wallet. If Kirk things that the projections are about as good as they can get ... he won't hesitate to urge Dunker to go. However, if he thinks that Dunker can still considerably help his draft-stock ... then he'll tell him that too.

I think he comes back and goes first round next year

Dunker didn’t get a ton of playing time last year. I would just think that NFL teams would be cautious of picking a guy high in the draft that has one good year under his belt at the college level. 🤷‍♂️
