Neighbor's pigs suspected in the death of a 75 year old Ohio woman.

Glad the collaboaration between the police department and coroner's office resulted in finding out what happened. I'm gonna go to the store tonight and pig up some bacon to eat this weekend in this woman's honor.

Also, Licking County. LOL
You might already know this, but there are a lot of geographical names in Ohio and Kentucky that include the word Lick or Licking. It’s a reference to the natural salt licks in the region during the Ice Age that attracted a lot of animals.

My favorite is Big Bone Lick State Park, ostensibly named for the large skeletal remains of mammoths and mastodons. At least that’s what they officially want us to believe. But you have to know there was plenty of giggling and snorting at the meeting when they chose that name.

“So we’re really going to do this?”

(short pause)

“Alright then, motion is adopted. Big Bone Lick State park it is.”

(bangs gavel)

“This meeting is adjourned.”

Licking, Missouri, better known as LICKMO says hello.

The Licking County Coroner’s Office says Rigney died from bleeding out due to extensive superficial injuries by livestock animals. It also says she had prior health conditions, and her death was ruled accidental.

Wut? So they accidentally ate her to death?

One of my favorites that I've driven through is Tightwad, MO. Chef's kiss for the population.

Not a comment on you but I dont know what it is but this 'chefs kiss' saying seems to be the new thing. Its been around a long time but seems to have new life for some reason. All of a sudden.

I have no idea why but when things are used so often you notice it it bugs the shit out of me. But I'm easily irritated so there is that.

Yeah, I don't love it either. Maybe the last decade or so it's been more pervasive. Admittedly not much thought was put into my Tightwad post.
