Watched the final two minutes or so. Uthoff was put in with under two minutes to go, and the Mavs up comfortably. The Nets had 3 offensive possessions from that point, and those possessions went:
- Uthoff got burnt, gave up a sloppy bucket, and committed a foul for a Nets "and 1"
- Uthoff was playing D off the ball, then switched off on a screen to guard the ball handler, who drove to the rim. Uthoff moved with him for several steps, and then inexplicably went to switch back to guard his original guy, which meant the ball handler went right to the glass for an uncontested layup.
- final possession was another shot made by the guy Uthoff was guarding, with another Uthoff foul leading to an "and 1"
So in other words, the minute and a half that Jarrod was in the game went about as bad as it possibly could. On offense, Jarrod tried to set a couple screens, and immediately passed the ball within the flow of the offense as soon as it came his way.
