New 133 contender

Looks like OU's dirtbag compliance officer Jason Leonard is blocking the release of the incoming class of 2023 recruits (Including Anthony Santaniello). Seeing stories on social media from former OU AA Millhof about how shady the guy is, and also comments made by the Woodley family on twitter.

Regarding your last sentence — do you mean you are also seeing stories from the Woodley family or about the Woodley family?

"Story" not the best word choice there, but there were comments made by Woodley and I assume his mother? on Twitter. Basically "You better have a lawyer look over everything when you're dealing with that guy."

I don’t know the ins and outs of this guy or these dealings but it’s fairly standard practice to hold releases until a new coach has a chance to speak with any incoming recruits. If that’s what the intent is, I’m fine with it. Obviously, there might be more to this story.

The whole getting a release thing is a big nothing burger for him. He will redshirt next year whether he has eligibility or not. And nothing says he has to be at Oklahoma because of his LOI. Mesenbrink was in WI and Kerk was at PSU when they were supposed to be at Cal Bap and tOSU respectively.

There is a temporary hold on the release to give the new coach a chance to try to recruit him. He is a stud recruit. Probably will sign with Pitt. His older brother is at Pitt as a redshirt freshman(injury). He is expected to be Pitt’s 133 # this year. Pitt is high on the brother, but Anthony is even better.
