Pretty amazing "no" from Dems (and especially voters under 45) on Joe running in 2024 ...

Among all Dems, only 37% want to see him seek re-election. Among independents only 12% want to see him run. Among all voters 18-29 years of age this drops to 15% and for ages 30-44 only 16% want to see him run.

Poll was conducted for AP by the University of Chicago.

Polls are fun, but the primaries are the only poll that matters. Dems have that curious think called Super Delegates that seems to have more weight than voter choice.
Yeah, the whole “super delegate” concept never seemed very democratic to me. They have modified and reduced some of their power from what I understand but they still exist.

They should have a poll to see what percentage of votes - both likely Rs and Ds - would prefer that neither Biden, nor Trump, run in 2024. I bet it's pretty high.

They both need to retire and go wait for God, or Cthulhu, or whoever to call them home.

I would vote for a solid wall over any of the Republicans... BUT I do really hope and pray a new contender arises before the next election. I don't like the idea of Biden taking another run at it. Compared to Trump or DeSantis a monkey would be better, but Biden will be 82 and he's already showing serious mental decline. Two more years of the presidency are not going to do well. And if he does, he better find a very, very competent VP to run alongside. Kamala is not it.

Biden is too old so I'll vote for authoritarian fascists. Makes total sense
How about primary his old ass and get a better candidate? Work for you?

Whoever it is will beat Trump if they’re stupid enough to make him the nominee.

Considering the forces against him Biden has hand the GOP's asses to them for the first two years. He hasn't gotten any credit for it and he still isn't getting any credit for it, but the fact that he's gotten two major pieces of legislation passed is freaking amazing. Young people might be holding him responsible for their 10k in student debt forgiveness not going through yet, but that shows a massive misunderstanding of what the problem is.

He’d be 86 at the end of a second term. No thanks.

Biden is far too old for a second term and is doubtful to make it through the entire term so he has to replace Kamala for sure. She cannot be President. I would probably not vote if it is that ticket.

We need to take some cues from other countries

I’m amazed that there’s been almost zero talk of anybody challenging Biden in 2024. It worries me that he has the support of most Dems, but there’s really no excitement to run out and vote for him. Kind of a version of the first Bush where he’s more admired than loved. I think it’s wide open for someone to knock him off and energize the party.

It won't matter come voting day. None of them wanted Joe all along but they are programmed to vote D no matter what. They literally just elected a human vegetable in Penn so clearly they don't care who's on the ballot

He really doesn’t have the support of most Dems. Only 37% want him to run again. He’s just too old.

So you have nothing to add. Thank you for playing.
I ask a question. Is there no one else in that party better than Biden? If you don’t want to answer, fine. You’ve added nothing. Thank you for playing.

You are horribly bad at this! You must first answer my question before I entertain your stupidity.

Yup. Rather than vibrant, charismatic, forward-thinkers to lead us into the future, we get to choose between two guys who would be incapable of living on their own and taking care of themselves.
While I totally agree, who do you have in mind? I am having a hard time coming up with someone
