91...I was there in 88-89. The big studs while I was there were Matt Cox and Robert Caton. Chris Bunton and Jason Heslop were a year behind me...I think they both took state in Mizzou.

Did any of them win the Afton Quadrangular?

I remember Cox and Caton well. I graduated same year and remember going to Southern Plains with both those guys. Caton and I rolled around together as partners a few practices. I didn't get to know them real well but seemed like good dudes and definitely were solid wrestlers.

And no way did they win the Afton Quadrangular! No KC teams allowed back in the day. We're talking basically the Midlands of High School! Sadly it's declined to the point that the Warrenton JV Tournament is now considered the High School Midlands.
