A little birdie has told me about a certain Women's Freestyle World Team member who will be joining HWC after Worlds.

She may or may not be dating Cory Clark.

It would be a pretty big get!

Hope you're right about that. With the history of wrestling in Iowa, it would be a shame for Iowa to be at the fore of women's wrestling as it emerges onto the scene. I love how they are taking some steps in this direction.

Side question: Is an updated website in the works for HWC? To my shame, I went to their webpage for the first time just today to find some more info on their athletes and was a little surprised by what I found. I'm sure they are using the funds mainly for what is important to the actual wrestling development of their athletes, but surely there is some benevolent web designer out there who'd be willing to make tax-deductible donations of service to upgrade and do up the HWC website...right? Honest question

I'm a "bottom up" thinker. However, hopefully adding more women to the HWC and Coach Brands' recent support of women's wrestling will have a "top down" effect on the growth of girls' wrestling in Iowa. Many are working hard to make this happen, but we lag behind many states.
