Don't know about that but it is a stupid location.
I agree but there aren't really that many options close to Kinnick Stadium
BNK is kind of right in the middle between BTN's live show and Gameday.
The coverage is certainly on part, but there's just something about the production and the atmosphere that only GameDay has/had....

I thought this as well, but in watching them set up this year I don't think the baseball turf would survive the set-up process with all of the trucks, lifts, and other equipment.
Looks like the baseball team has a game tomorrow. So where Quad used to be is the only realistic spot you could put it on the west side of the river

I think it's just the Quad lawn that was always there since they'd torn down the fourth wall in the 70s. We played football and frisbee there. The Pharmacy building is now where the Quad was. That's looking at the map though, haven't been in that spot since Quad was demolished to see exactly what it looks like.
Agree. Rienow was home for me. That's a great location to set up not far from Kinnick.
