Too early for that ... that situation may change by the time the season starts.Surprised to not see any true freshman on the chart. Hope they take it in stride.

I think OL depth is fine if they guys stay relatively healthy. Levi has played some, Ferguson has played some, they are high on Kallenberger. They key for Iowa though is to remain relatively healthy on the OL. That hasn't happened for a few years. There has been a lot of guys in and out or out completely for a period of time.
I'd agree, but with the new rule in place for redshirts, it would be nice to get them some minutes against someone like UNI, should the game be in hand. I'm not talking about major minutes, but we could use someone with Shannon's beef down on the goaline, and remember that Linderbaum held up pretty well at the All American camps he attended.Shannon and Linderbaum have a lot to learn for their position, the closer your position to the ball the harder it is to see early playing time.
That reflects what Morgan has been saying too. When the players are talking up the guys too ... that's a really promising sign.Check out @MarkEmmert’s Tweet:
So much DL talent in the B1G. When Phil figures out the right combinations for the Iowa DL, this group could be one of the top 3-4. That is saying something.Check out @MarkEmmert’s Tweet:

I remember the past few spring games wondering who "that #57 was," seemed to all over the place making tackles and around the ball. Great Daniels comparison, Iowa would definitely take that!So much DL talent in the B1G. When Phil figures out the right combinations for the Iowa DL, this group could be one of the top 3-4. I thought I remember Reese Morgan saying on hawk central he likes Chauncey Gholston at DE more and DT was more so just an experiment. But it could also be he is way to good to keep off the field. Also both spring games I have really liked Simon I think he can be the next binns or Hodges if his time ever comes.I remember the past few spring games wondering who "that #57 was," seemed to all over the place making tackles and around the ball. Also, Emmert Twitter is a great one to follow, always has some recruiting tidbits or insight, I'd recommend a combo of Emmert/Dochterman/Morehouse/Leistokow/Tom&Blair
If things play out as I suppose ... the Hawks will likely be losing both starting DEs after the '19 season. Furthermore, with Brincks and Hesse graduating after the '18 season ... there will already be opportunity within the rotation (at DE) in '19. Then, come '20, it could be a free-for-all for the starting DE spots.I thought I remember Reese Morgan saying on hawk central he likes Chauncey Gholston at DE more and DT was more so just an experiment.
