Next commit?

Bretli Reyna
I don't know if he'll come to Iowa or not, but I'm curious where his National Ranking goes after winning a pre-season tournament like the Super 32. I thought someone posted he was ranked #96. Don't know how he has fared Nationally prior to this year, or if he even attempted to wrestle outside of Florida.

He has a visit scheduled to Lehigh so academics are important to him.But I think he ends up at Iowa he has that grinder mentality

He wont commit to Iowa until all his trips are taken. I don't blame him for wanting to see a bunch of good college football games at other schools expense. He only gets to be in this position one time in his life. IMO every kid should use their 5 visits to the fullest even if they already know.
I know he has gone to ISU, Michigan, Iowa this weekend, and UNC next week. Does he have a fifth scheduled? Or has he done another one and I missed it?

I remember his interview awhile back and thought there was 5. I feel like it was closer...like UNI, Wisky, Minn or Neb. Im too busy to go archiving but i'm sure someone will.

On a side note is UNC now the new Nebraska as in terms of always seeming to be on a top 5 list with elites with very little pull through success rate.

I think a lot of people in the know have their doubts how much longer Schrievers body will let him wrestle.

I really like Ybarra and he will be good but IMO I grade Ayala a little better. It's like asking someone to pick between McDonough & Ramos or Clark & Gilman .Id take McD and Clark because to finish at the top of the podium at NCAA's you need to control, manage and manufacturer a win and that's a more complete formula than a guy who is all take downs and escapes.I see that in Ayala and I think he could win more than one NCAA title.

133 is also a weight class too. Likely someone fills out between the 3.

I do think once Ayala is a SR and a top 10 P4P recruit no one will ask that question.

Cullens days at 125 are done. I expect him to be 33/41 in college. His body will be fine. Ybarra will probably start at 125 and end up at 133 after a few years. Than comes in Ayala at 125 and hopefully his body allows him to stay there for his career.

Also why would you want to train with Gilman, Lee & brands brothers.

The fact that he is going to decide after UNC and not take advantage of going on visits and opportunities during basketball season looms promising to us in my opinion. Maybe I know too much.

Why would Ayala be a hawk? I’m not trying to start a fight but we have 2 studs coming in around his weight and only a year older than him

If he wasn’t, why would he have made several trips to IC this Summer to train with the guys and rather just stick to the Cyclone RTC which is much closer to home?

Strong chance Ayala won't be a career 125 but will have no fear of anyone in the room at 133 if he grows into that. I heard The Ohio State University was a possible 5th trip for him.

for extra credit...today yet?
Not today. I may have to rethink that pick. I believe Paddy, Sokol, & Reyna all still have other visits scheduled. Ayala and Rathjen are both going to UNC next week. That will be Rathjen’s last visit, but I believe Drake still has one more. I’m going to change my pick to Rathjen. Kick loves the Hawks!

I’d love if a few visits got cancelled after today...
