We'll be starting a series of articles following the players who will be stepping up to fill spots left by the guys headed to the NFL. Today at spring practice, I spoke with Jay Higgins, who will play Mike linebacker in replacement of Jack Campbell.

Jack will be a tough act to follow but I believe Jay is up to the task. I can't wait to watch him making plays all over Duke Slater field this fall.
