I'd say the most amazing finish was in the Kansas-South Dakota State game.
Kansas was closing in on a game-ending FG try to tie the game and send it to OT, so on their final snap to stop the clock, the QB was simply going to spike the ball.
It's been one hell of a rough ride in Lawrence since Mangino was forced out.
Unfortunately the QB fumbled the snap before he could spike it and that was the game as the clock ran out.
What a shambles they have there. Charlie Weiss is being blamed for leaving Kansas 20 scholarship below the 85 limit players for this year? WTH? How did that happen?
I was on the KU campus a couple weeks ago and I have no idea how anyone can win there with their facilities, stadium, etc. Go into any on campus book store/athletic gear shop, and you don't even know KU football exists. 99% of the gear is KU basketball. What Mark Mangino did there while there is nothing short of amazing.
