Next year with Cook

I know, I know, this year is fun just enjoy it. You see the improvement from last year to this. But, if Tyler Cook comes back next year, and that’s a big if, that team will be so special. All we lose in this case is Baer and everyone will have played with each other for another year. We will be a top 4 seed in then NCAA Tournament and will play close to home

Orrrr the team could buy into the hype and think they can just show up and then have a let down season....you never can assume with sports unless your Clemson and Alabama in football.

Honestly what I have seen from Cook this year screams the need of another off season working on a jump shot. Its the only part of the game he's missing buts its obvious and they give him that shot regularly so it will follow him until he can get a decent shot threat in his game.
If he really dislikes school or really needs to make money I can understand leaving and hoping to pick up a shot on his own but it would be a lot easier within the college framework with a strong team like Iowa will have next year.

A jump shot would be nice but it's not the crucial piece.

Undersized big men that make it in the nba are dominant defenders and rebounders in college.

Hes made good strides in both areas but needs to show atleast as much improvement again next year as he has this year.
