NFC/AFC Championship Thread

There really are thousands of fans of the Buffalo Bills football franchise. Imagine being one of them.

It absolutely was not the correct call. And it yet again gave the Chiefs the benefit of a horrible call. There is zero integrity in the game of football any longer. It’s all about the money - college and pro.
It absolutely was. Here’s the thing my man. The Chiefs had 2nd and 9 and instead of running up the middle at the end of the game used their QB on a roll out for a pass to Pacheco. And then to Perine. The Bills got stopped multiple times on the tush push. You’ve got a 6-5 240 lb QB. Make it hard on the defense. And it was the right call.

Cry me a river boys. Make plays when you need to make them. Go Chiefs. The NFL conspiracy rolls on.
They did, dipshit. The officials took over. The far LM had Allen correctly passed the line to gain. Then suddenly the ball is moved back. The overhead showed the ball beyond the line to gain but they were able to go with the “stands as called” to lean on
Look, KC has great players, great coaches, and a great team. But to deny that they get a shitload of help is disingenuous but you do you.

7 years in a row of help. You’re the dipshit.

The NFL is about ratings. Right now, it is in the NFL’s best interest to have the Chiefs in the Super Bowl (3-peat, Taylor Swift, etc.).

Are the games “rigged” per se? No. The Chiefs earned their spot. But….2-3 “favorable” calls/noncalls in strategic situations can impact the flow and momentum of a game that helps shift the odds in a teams’ favor. Credit KC for taking advantage of these. The Bills had their chances but did not take advantage.

Do not be surprised to see similar calls/noncalls in the Super Bowl. Should the Chiefs win, I suspect these will cease next season. Fans will be tired of the Chiefs and the NFL will want fresh blood in the big game.

The NFL was hoping to have the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, because of ratings and money. To think otherwise is naive.

Yup, reread what I typed because nowhere did I say seven years.
You're the one being disinigenous. There's 120 plays in a game give or take. The play on the field was called short. It was reviewed and if you think it was a clear and obvious error I'm not sure what to tell you. Bills were leading 22-21. They then let the Chiefs drive down the field and score and also get a 2 pt conversion. Oh, and then the Bills drove down on a great drive and tied the game up. So now it's 29-29. Bills could have then stopped the Chiefs, but guess what? They did not. Bills and Josh Allen had the opportunity to drive a stake in the heart of the Chiefs and go down and win the game and could not. They then had 3 time outs left to stop them. They did not.

i can't stand either the Bills or Chiefs and really only pull for Iowa Guys and no specific Team, But that " catch " call and the bad spot on the Allen play were beyond blatantly horrible , I mean those are easy to see calls . Chiefs always get those calls in important games so it is not hard to see why NFL Fans have questions on the officiating and NFL Corporate influencing Officiating . I personally hope Cooper gets in on Mahomes in the SB and hits Him like He is the replay ref in the Gopher game

You also understand there was a holding penalty on the worthy catch so it was an automatic 1st down regardless? And please find me where it clearly shows Allen had the 1st down. Because he didn’t. Allen had the opportunity to put his stamp on history with the ball and over 330 to go and got 1first down. 1. Bills had 3 time outs and let the Chiefs run out the clock. Cry me a river.

There was a terrible false start call which should have been offsides deep in KC territory. Put them at 3rd and 15 instead of 3rd and 5.

Bad calls happen. Both ways. The holding on Jones that was never called Sunday was absurd.

People love to focus on the ones that help the chiefs, not the ones that hurt them.

There were 3-4 missed calls on the Bills in the game, but that doesn’t fit your narrative. Oh, and there were 5 fumbles that the Bills recovered every single one. And by the way they they’ve kicked the Niners ass twice in the Super Bowl now. Guys like you are so ridiculous. 16-1 in the regular season before they sat everyone and now going for the first 3 peat. But it’s the refs.

My god you’re a total tool. Congrats you’ve just become my first block. I can’t believe it took me this long to join the large group.
Appreciate it. Maybe we can have an actual football talk where guys like you don’t bitch about the refs and actually watch a football game.
