Do you think Murin will be career 41, or does his body type and growth curve from high school indicate possibly moving to 49 eventually?
Hard to say, a variable that could affect his weight class could be who we have at 149, if we were to get Sasso for instance, career 141 seems more likely. But I wouldn't entirely rule out 149. Just my opinion, so take that for what its worth.
He will be a very sturdy 141 pounder. A couple years in the Iowa weight room if he wanted to be a 49 pounder I could see that happening. Whichever weight, he will be a hand-fighting grind them into the earth type that Iowa fans will love rooting for.

I had a chuckle about that as well.
They posted it pretty much immediately after it happened and considering there isn't anything else of note going on in that early round, so would have any other wrestling news outlet that was updating each round. A ranked kid with a recognizable name falling to a relative nobody was about as good as it got for R32. Take off the tin hat.
In their defense they had his win over Pappas on the featured video section and another video of him winning just below that.

Nelson Brands is an intriguing character and people are interested in how he does. Much like Joe Smith gets more coverage than he should. This is a good thing for Iowa. As far as his skills, even in this loss you can see he is going to be a handful. He needs to tighten a lot of things up that are very teachable. His motor and drive that he displays every time he steps on the mat are not as teachable.
