CJ and our punter/holder each wear No. 16. My understanding is that you can have different players wear the same number if the aren't going to be on field at same time such as one offense one on defense. I guess that applies to special teams too.
But in a game where we saw Roberson do a quick-pooch punt and where our kicker tried to run for a first down, it seems that Iowa could take advantage of CJ wearing the same number as the punter/holder and run him out there as the holder or for a fake punt . Now that he has cut his hair, wearing the number of the punter/holder could be used to create some deception.
