Eichorst is totally fine with breaching a contract? Good luck getting any coaches in the future if you're going to ignore terms of a contract.

I'm sure Riley agreed. I doubt their next coaching hire will hinge on a 5-7 team not receiving bowl bonuses.

I hope they do not go at 5-7. Heck, I hope they would not go at 8-4. They do not need extra practices.

I would suppose it depends on how the contract reads. If it states 6 wins or something about meeting Bowl criteria then yes I could see how they would deny it. But if it simply says their bonus is based on playing in a bowl then this is this not a good idea

I don't get why they would accept. Their problem is pretty much squarely that their QB threw like 20 picks this year and it's not like he benefits from extra practices- he's been starting for two years already. In fact he seems to be getting worse.

Tough spot for the coaching staff. What are you going to do? Sue the school for breach of contract so they have to reward you for going 5-7? That wouldn't sit well with fans.

The fanbase would probably get over it, much like how our fanbase isn't crying about Ferentz's contract anymore.
