No Country for Old Men

OP obviously has outstanding taste in movies. Congrats, Good Sir. Lewellen's wife was also in another favorite movie of mine...Trainspotting! Incidentally, one of the best soundtracks ever.
and since I brought it up, I will include the opening to Trainspotting, absolutely fantastic.

Great film. Josh Brolin was on Joe Rogan yesterday talking about it. He said they didn't think the film would be a huge hit and that Bardem was depressed about his haircut.

Also Bardem to get his pale look wore SPF 100 and kept the shades drawn in his room. He even went as far as using an umbrella on set.

What are the board’s thoughts on this movie?

I saw it in the theater when it first came out and have seen it many times since. For me it’s one of those stop and watch a bit whenever it’s on films. I love everything about it - the acting, the cinematography, the dialogue, the lack of a soundtrack, etc

How about it, HBOT?
Agree, Chigurh is the baddest of the bad

Great movie. Still don’t understand the scene where Jones goes back to the hotel room and it appears that Chigurgh is there and then not.
He walked in right after Chigurgh had got the money out of the vent. When he went into the bathroom, Chigurgh went out the open front door.
When he sat on the bed he noticed the screws on the floor.

I love that scene - Ed Tom is struggling with his desire to investigate and be the tough cop against being scared shitless about what could be in that room and thinking he ought to just go home. Tommy Lee Jones does a great job
