Kind of hard to give an effort when he has practice dummies for an OL.

I think lots of Iowa fans are overlooking the loss of our O-tackles. Jackson and Wirfs are physically gifted but they're not ready to be starting at tackle. They were supposed to be learning and developing this season. With the injuries, they're getting thrown to the wolves, and they're struggling.

No offense is going to produce with liabilities at both O-tackle spots. These kids will be great, but they're overmatched right now. It's not a shocker that we're struggling to run it or give Stanley time to throw. Tough to run an effective offense when you're not getting adequate play at both tackle positions.
