Kinnick Stadium's new capacity will be 69,250.

they could get it back to 70,000 if they decide to fill in the South EZ
I say find a way to sneak in an extra 750 tailgaters off the street and always keep that capacity at 70k, even though it'll officially read 69,250.......

All the seats and benches in the North EZ are in already. Benches need to be put back on the very North end of both East and West bleachers. East Bleacher masonry work facing Hawkins drive is being washed and cleaned. North EZ will be immaculate to start 2019!

Why did they have to work on the ends of the East and West stands?

Reconfigure the bleachers where tunnel entrances come into the field. Masonry work done nearly top to bottom on the sides of the E and W bleachers. All part of the NEZ project.

As much as the south endzone could have been better, at least half of it is underground. So, at field level, it's full enclosed up to street level. Yeah, it would be great to enclose all of it, but at least the openings aren't at ground level and looking directly out into the city. I hate stadiums like that.

Anything they can do that will keep the noise focused towards the field will ultimately help. A big play offense and a defense that can get off the field before a 10 play drive won't hurt either!
