Northern Lights

We are about 30 east of you, it was pale purple and greens. My wife wasn't impressed. I took some pictures and the phone definitely enhanced the colors "it wasn't that impressive" she says. Thats what they all say.......

Even meteorologist were saying how often they happen. Just happens over the oceans.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how’d you like the play.

We were so lucky in the Midwest to have two so near within 7 years. Hell, southern Illinois had both.

Those of you that missed both missed a lot.

Not until you go to a site of totality. Then you’ll never miss another.

I was down in Kansas City in 2017. It was fine. Not sure why, but it just doesn’t get me going like it does some people. I’m glad you and other folks really like it though. It’s nice to have something that gets the blood flowing.

Looks like downtown KC was the very southern edge of the band of totality.

Did you see totality, when the moon fully blocks the sun, and there is the Sun’s corona glow around the moon?

We get it, you liked the eclipse. You like it more than you like seeing pasty guys on the bball floor, and boy do you love seeing that.

WIthin the city?

If you want the full effect, you needed to get to open area, where you can see the horizon around you in all directions. On a higher elevation that you can see everything around/below you.
