Not really, it's a different set of rules at Northwestern. I'm pretty sure Fitz doesn't get paid $4 million a year either. About the only way Fitz could get fired this year is if he knowingly allowed one of his coaches to bang little boys in the locker room. As long as he fields a quality team every few years he's in good shape.

It's painful to watch Thorson in the pocket. Northwestern isn't good enough up front to be a spread power run team. They need an accurate passer like Simien or Persa to force the defense to spread out so that the OL can influence.

Northwestern is a quarterback that can run their system away from being very good. They always are. Fortunately for us Fitz has been having a tough time finding somebody that can fill that role.
