Northwestern

I feels disgusting pulling for northwestern but that's exactly what I'm doing... I couldn't possibly even come close to pulling for Gonzaga.. double gross!

They look like shit lol. Looks like I'm watching a 1-8 NIT matchup lol.
I thought the Iowa game wasn't until tomorrow ;)

Zags are really good this year. I'm pulling for the Cats but there is no shame in getting whooped by Zaga especially with a frosh running the show.

NW stinks. They shot their season wad when they played us and Vic Law, Lindsey, and their PG were on fire from 3pt line...today they can't buy a basket or hold on to the ball. I don't think this Gonzaga team is as good as the one that blew Iowa out a couple years ago in NCAA. Competition is down.

Shows how much a team that lives and dies by the 3 is a fraud.

I find myself pulling for Gonzaga. I find this all this NW love including Doug Collins and Brad Hall & Julia Louis-Dreyfus annoying.
Agree but NW futility breeds underdog love. Personally I can't name another college team I hear more about year in and year out than Gonzaga yet no final fours. Zags look very real today!

Nigel Williams-Goss is hurting them. They need to drive to the basket and get them in foul trouble. Gotta go at Karnowski and Collins in the post.

The simple fact that we won't have to listen to Mike & Mike drone on about Notre Dame and Northwestern on Monday is more than a little gratifying.

I wouldn't give up yet. First half is very similar to first half of ISU-Gonzaga game, and ISU ended up missing a shot at the end that would have won it. Zags have their ups and downs.

That's an easy choice for me...I would pull for the B10 most of the time anyway, but playing ISU...GO Boilers!

Purdue fan here: when the Hawks beat the Clones in December, how did Iowa defend them and how did they attack them on O?

I don't remember defense but i remember our guys just attacking on offense. Constant attack, helped the shots were falling.

The best news you could have would be for Monte Morris to say he has a big surprise in store for the Boilers. Fans in Carver are still waiting to find out what he promised for us back in December. I'm thinking it must be pretty special for him to have waited this long...

We beat them without Cook, who was out with a broken finger. If I remember correctly, Moss was hot in the first half and Jok took over in the second half. Pemsl had a strong game and Baer was Baer.

I'm thinking he ate that promise right along with that L he took at the hands of the Hawks.. then again maybe he just knew they were gonna beat and felt like no Iowa fan thought it would happen. New flash Mr. Morris we Always think ISU will be W!
