Not looking good in the Bitcoin world this morning

I have Bitcoin as well as other crypto holdings.

To me, you just have to hope there are more people dumber than you for the price to go up.

I mean look at some of these meme coins.

THERE IS ALMOST 2 BILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF FARTCOIN OUT THERE.

I expect BTC to keep going up but I'm honestly not sure if it will EVER be a functional currency. Very small chance.

I only need it to do well 1 more cycle, and with more and more institutional/government investment, I am fairly confident there will be another 4 year cycle. After that I significantly pull back my investments. Will still invest 3-5% but no more than that.

Do you know the tiny autonomous Portuguese island of Madeira is a Bitcoin fan? Did you know if you establish residency, there is NO tax on $BTC gains long or short term? 😊 Of course you do, you’re a money 💴 man!!

I would consider investing as a pure gamble. Some of these will be really good plays . . . for a while. But I'm not a gambler, and I'm definitely not knowledgeable enough to know the best gambling strategy for crypto.
Do you keep all your reserves in your savings account?

In order to make money you have to be willing to take risks.

You don't have to know a lot about crypto to make money in it. You buy low and sell high just like anything else. These markets have mostly become quite predictable.

There will be dips, but the highs are probably going higher now with some of the major players being crypto friendly.

I don't consider bitcoin and other crypto to be the same thing.
Come crypto are designed to inflate their supply.
With bitcoin, your 'hope' (expectation) is that the Federal Reserve will continue to debase the dollar.
That's the safest bet out there.

Gresham's Law mean it's not going to ever become the main currency for transactions.
People will save in bitcoin, which will retain (and increase in relative terms to fiat currencies) purchasing power, and they'll spend the 'bad money', to get it out of their hands.

My oldest stepson has officially crossed the gamer to crypto bro bridge. Sweet kid, but he’s autistic though, so we’re not surprised.
