Michael Weathers, a PG from Miami University is transferring. Michael is from my area back home in Shawnee, Kansas. Michael was unbelievably slept on as a recruit as he didn't even have a recruiting profile. However, after watching him beat my alma mater (perennial bball power house) in the state tournament last year, i knew he was gifted. Michael averaged 16 ppg 4rpg and 4apg this year as a freshman and is a natural athlete who can break you down off the bounce. Michael was also named MAC freshman of the year. Bleacher Report even wrote an article about he was the most slept on recruit coming out of HS. Only issue with Michael is he has a twin brother who is likely going to have to go with him. Marcus, his brother, is no slouch averaging 10ppg this year but not quite high level D1 player.

Another prospect is Mike Lewis ii. Mike is from STL and played with Tyler Cook at Chaminade. Mike averaged 14ppg this year at Duqeusne. Mikes film is impressive as he seems to be an all around PG. Mike looks to be able to break you down off the bounce in the half court and also has a nice jumper (scored 31 points this year).

I would love to pick up either of these guys. Neither of them have burned their redshirt so they could come in next year and sit out. If I had to choose between one or the other I would take Weathers as he is an unbelievably smooth athlete who can play at a high level. Really hope Fran and his staff are aware of these two and possibly taking a look.
