Nothing like enriching yourself off of crappy legislation you helped pass 😡

The OP agrees with someone because they validated what he already believes. Shocking.
@lucas80 To use you’re quote in my thread the other day.

Not that I disagree with this thread but, I just wanted to show you that I could use your quote on pretty much anyone’s thread that they start.

And another:

"Operatives stopping by the local shelter and exchanging cigarettes for votes, putting them in a big box in their Prius and taking them unsecurely to be counted"

Your request for citation wasnt specific. I assumed you were referencing the following. Which you have yet to address.

"But......I will say that the lax voting rules that they created under the guise of COVID did make it much easier for questionable tactics to occur. Mail in ballots, ballot harvesting etc. I don't think that rules were violated. I.e election stolen. I think that rules were created that swung the election in the favor of Democrats."

If you wanted a citation for the Prius statement above I wouldn't have wasted my time since a person of reasonable intellect could have spotted the sarcasm.

It was bolded, dipshit.

Oh Northern, no one believes you would even mention the interaction if the dude was white. We’ve been reading your posts for far too long

Just admit that your assumption that a street peddler was a black person is rooted in prejudice. Not a good look for you. Just be a man and own up to it.

Seriously though, would you say you’re more afraid of black people outside of baseball stadiums or brown immigrants?

It’s rooted in the fact that you were so put off by the idea of interacting with a POC that you had to mention it to the board.

The quote was truncated so I couldn't see the part you bolded. Dipshit. I didn't think i had any need to re-expand my post to reply to yours.

Save the exasperation for another poster. You're getting all bent out of shape asking for clarification/citation on a hyperbolic hypothetical that you knew, or should have known, was such.

It's not that difficult you made a claim about cigarettes for votes. Show your work.

This is a story about the events that prompted the creation of the hyperbolic hypothetical.

I don't think the GIAOT standard for statements is evidence/citation. But, to play along, I've provided the references for all the things my post may have claimed.

Im sure you'll be using the 'show your work' quote from here on out with all you liberal friends claims as well.

Ill hang up and listen to your reply.

That was an extreme example made up to be illustrative.

Care to comment on the actual thrust of my post?

The part about how election rules were relaxed and the prior well established secure election methods were tossed aside?

I have provided not one, not two, but three citations documenting the changes.
And what calamities did these change bring on our elections?

Oh. Right. NONE.

Sure they did. Biden won. I stated in my original post that I didnt think the election was stolen.

I simply believe that long standing election processes were changed, allegedly because of COVID, and these changes benefited one party. That shouldn't be controversial or seem outlandish. When rules and processes are changed in a contest often times one group in the contest benefits more than an another.

The genuine private schools like Trinity Lutheran School
in Davenport are supported by a local congregation Trinity
Lutheran Church. Trinity Lutheran School has been in existence
for over 100 years without any financial support from the state
of Iowa. This is a high quality school with a good reputation in
the community. Private schools like Trinity Lutheran will survive
because they offer a quality education.
Yo, Lute!

Some differences from your claim.
  • The incident supposedly happened during the 2000 election not 2020 and didn't have anything to do with Covid voting rules.
  • The ballots weren't collected from a homeless shelter for cigarettes. Voters at the homeless shelter were given a ride to the polls.
  • Cigarettes were given to some homeless people, but not all. There was no quid pro quo.

I am willing to provide proof for any post I make on GIAOT that I claim as a fact. Please feel free to call me out if I don't.

If relaxing voting rules ends up benefitting one party more than the other, to me that says far more about the party that didn't benefit than anything else.

Not to mention the fact that in many of these states Republican legislatures or SoSs were involved in relaxing the rules.

Not sure why "allegedly" because of Covid. Covid happened, and as a result, many states chose to relax voting rules, particularly involving vote by mail options for people who wanted to avoid crowds due to pandemic concerns.

You're trying to make a controversy here where none exists.

i believe that the Left, particularly the elected Left, felt that a real opportunity existed in being able to relax voting rules and the Covid crisis was too good to waste.

Considering that this was done by both republicans and democrats, it was hardly a partisan action.

Lol

Did Nancy Pelosi vote to invent the stock market? 😂

This is stupid even by your low bar.
Lol

Did Dean Fisher unilaterally write, pass and fund Iowa’s school voucher bill? 😂

This is incredibly stupid even by your extremely low bar.

This wouldn’t be happening if public schools wouldn’t belittle and disparage kids who want to go into the trade skills. Trade jobs are more important than the arts.
