I've said all along that the N Dakota State will be the
Biggest challenge in the 3 Non-conference games.

Say what you want...........the Bison have 5 National championships in
their division.

Hawkeyes and its fans better be ready to Kick some bison back north

I agree but I will also say that this will be one of the weakest N Dakota St teams over the past few seasons. I've been a big fan of their program over the years and what they've built but it will be one hell of a coaching job if they can win the ship this year. That said it will still be a stiff test for the Hawks but I expect them to win by three touchdowns.

This would have been a great year to have a mid level Power 5 team on the non con. In the end it will be like we played 3 FCS teams. With how CJ has the offense dialed in it would have been nice to get this team a true test and get some early national exposure and respect. If we want to make that next big leap we need to schedule better. I think a little blame on the last two blowouts in the bowls can be put on a weak non con and not being ready for different non B1G system.

I've been saying this. This NDSU is coming to Iowa City expecting to win. They will not be afraid. Iowa needs to put them away early. If we let them hang around, then look out.
