Nunge!!!! clutch baby

Happy for Jack. He called for the ball that last shot, got the inbounds, and made a tough one.

Not even mad that it was Jack that cost me my future bet on Texas A&M to win the NIT.

Yes, I bet on TAMU before the NIT even began...... oh well.

Love this man, he overcame so so much. You can tell he shouldered it all. Father's passing, injuries, transferring schools and being the man for his family. How can you not be proud of this guy. He transformed so much these past 4 years. Knew with his father's passing and his good game that he was going to be great this year. So much heart/motivation to focus and prove it. Selfishly wish he was still a Hawk but he made the right decision for him! God bless Jack! Knew that tough game winner was going in! God is good!

As bad as the tournament season was for the Iowa teams, tonight in a sense, Iowa was in the spotlight. You have a former Hawkeye win an NIT championship for Xavier, and Bohannon wins the 3-point contest.

Jack will be back with Xavier under the "new" Sean Miller regime. Actually he may benefit from the style of play Miller prefers as Miller had done a decent job with bigs throughout the years. I, personally, don't like his style of offense (pretty controlled and somewhat methodical) but it has usually favored bigs. I see Jack's younger brother Bobby is on the team as well.
