NW vs Neb

Big 3 by tominaga to put it away.

There is a sea of mediocrity in the B1G after pu and wisky(puke!); Illinois with shannon joins them in the top 3.
Having that many teams bunched together makes for a lot of matchups that can turn out to be decent games to watch.

You’re crazy. Purdue is the 2nd ranked team in the country. Their guard play is much improved, and they have the most unstoppable player in the country.
Exactly. What else does Purdue need to do to prove they are a good team? Here was their non-conference schedule (using KenPom rankings):
#34 Xavier
#21 Gonzaga
#4 Tennessee
#17 Marquette
#8 Alabama
#3 Arizona
#86 Samford (who has won 17 straight and has the country's longest win-steak, really good low-major team)

All of those games took place away from Mackey Arena except for Xavier and Samford too btw. Purdue is 6-2 v Q1 and 4-0 v Q2. The only other team that has more than 8 Q1&2 wins is #1 ranked UConn. If you watched a lot of college basketball, I don't know how anyone would come to the conclusion that Purdue isn't one of the 4 best teams in the country--there's a reason why Vegas has had Purdue as the best odds to win the whole title basically since Maui.

Agree entirely. Maybe Michigan State, but everyone else has flaws.
Michigan State could get better and get that far but i dont think so. Purdue and Illinois will be the ones who go the farthest. Big10 might only get6-7 teams in> Long ways to go but its looking that way.

Lmfao!!!

This year’s Purdue team is just like a team last year in March Madness that everybody thought would win it all.

Can’t remember the team but they lost in the first round to a 16 seed if I remember correctly.

pu looks good enough to be a final 4 team.
It also won't surprise me if they crap out in the sweet 16. Their guard play is good, but not stellar.

I think Purdue is better than last year....so maybe they can get to final 4 if they get lucky. They
have been poor ncaa tourney performers under Painter relative to their ranking.

In NCAA tourney they won't get the friendly whistle every game like they do in B1G regarding Eddey. The transfer guard they got out of S. Illiniois helps their guard play, but Loyer and Smith can be shut down by more
athletic defenders---so if the 3 ball isn't going down, they will get beat in the tourney just like Nebraska beat them.

Its pretty disgusting to watch Eddey draw 11 fouls on Iowa post defenders and he only gets 3 fouls called on him.
He goes over the back on his offensive rebounding.

Which proves you don’t watch bball. @HawkHoops80 just supplied you with big evidence of who they’ve already beaten this year. More good wins besides only UConn. Their guard play is much improved if you would actually watch a game. Pt guard was a Frosh last year. Adding the Lance Hones from Southern was a big pickup. Great defensive guard and another guy that can shoot the 3. If it was so easy to Eady why can’t anyone do it?
