They had a year. That produced two decent albums What’s The Story Morning Glory? And Definitely Maybe? Similar to Hottie & The Blowfish or Live.
Haters, man. There's probably 15 b-sides from the first few few albums that are better than any rock that's come out in the last decade
Enjoyed their first couple albums. After that really didn’t have anything else to say. Hence why Noel quit I assume. But two good albums is two more than most every artist.
NDallasRuss ticket update:
1. Presale: I entered the lottery but didn't get a presale code.
2. General Sale: Tickets went on same last night at 3am Central time, so I stayed up to give it a try. It was a mess. They were selling tickets on ticketnaster and another (I guess) English site called gigsandtours. Despite logging on early I couldn't get close to sniffing tickets. With Ticketmaster I couldn't get past the queue to get into the queue to get tickets. With gigsandtours, their website apparently completely crashed and was useless for tickets.
For people who could get into the Ticketmaster site to get tickets, Twitter was full of people posting bad experiences of getting error messages and being kicked back out, or getting a message that their account was being suspended because the site thought they were a bot.
Overall, it seems like Ticketmaster was the only one who came out ahead last night - as is usually the case when you've got a monopoly. Eff them.
So, we'll see if we're able to go about this a different way.
