obama on 60 minutes

that was nuts I kind of see now why tv producers like short sound bites, a few seconds, concise answers, to the point, it makes for better tv

I thought he gave some rather sensible answers, especially regarding Syria......There is NO ONE there who deserves our military support. His point regarding Putin were on the mark. He campaigned not to get us to be the world's policemen any more. He is keeping his promise there.
Half you guys think we should just keep sending our sons and daughters there to settle a mess they can't settle themselves. If the Arabs don't like our policy...then they should settle it themselves. I thbought his answers regarding Hilary were more true than not. I don't believe any "national secrets" were compromised...and the investigation, once completed, will furnish the information we all want to know.
But then, the choir that responded said exactly what they would be expected to say.

Not sure which interview you watched, the one on 60 minutes had a blathering President mumble and stumble on each answer he gave.

Not sure how you know the truth of this. Nevertheless, you and so many others are missing the real significance of what Hillary did. She knowingly refused to follow national security protocol simply because it didn't suit her own personal desires. Her actions have demonstrated consistently that she will do anything to advance her own self-interest; and further, that her self-interest and the best interests of our country do not align. Whether you're a democrat or not, why you would support her as our next President is beyond me.

As far as Hillary and the secrets being compromised, come on. The Chinese are extremely good at hacking. Do you really think they could could not crack the server in Hillary's basement in less than five minutes. As croft said, this administration has indicted people for less than Hillary did. It's time to stop drinking the kook aid

rather sensible answers? the idiot goes on national tv and actually says putin is doing nothing worth a crap in Syria and not leading!! that's like saying four americans were not killed in Benghazi! or like saying that bin laden was killed in 2010 or something, instead of : died of natural causes in 2001.

Obama takes egoism and narcissism to new levels. He really isn't rational.

There has not been a politician more protected from the media that Obama.

I also do not know who is giving him his talking points but the fact that Russia is supporting Syria is not an act of weakness, it is supporting their ally. What troubles me is that Obama doesnt understand how he has damaged his own reputation around the world. Obama set redlines in Syria, they were crossed repeatedly, and the USA does nothing. He tells Russia not to invade Ukaine or there will be consequences and sure as shit Russia follows through and the USA does nothing. He tells Russia not to go into Syria to support Assad and of course Putin sends his military in. The voice of the USA is no longer heard and we are not feared.

The USA military has always been a powerful deterrent around the world. In order for it to be used effectively, you have to set the tone that the leader of the free world will use it to defend the interests of the USA.

If Obama has no intentions of using the military in these areas, he needs to do a better job of using it as a deterrent because what he is doing now is not working. The world knows that he is all talk now. Russia has exposed this and will continue to alter the landscape around the world. The fact that Isreal had a formal meeting with Russia should be alarming to the USA. The world knows who they can rely on.

Yes, much better to make the Russians the worlds police man. In other words, liberals have no spines. Amazing how liberals like wimps.

I agree with this part. Obama is pulling a Reagan and going to bleed Russia dry.
Agreed. This will be Afghanistan II for Russia. Truth be told, Russia is supporting the only logical Syrian outcome. But the ensuing gorilla warfare will likely bankrupt Russia.

Now if we could just beyond our Afganistan. Why are we still there?

what we just witnessed looked kind of staged and pre-screened

Did you not notice this guy there - right next to Obama?

To compare President Ronald Reagan with Barack Obama is ridiculous.
Our allies supported Reagan in his efforts to bring down the Soviet Union.
Who are our allies today? Obama is a joke on the international scene.
