"Take the points" is a silly strategy. It doesn't factor in the fact that the other team now takes over in horrible field position. I would never kick fieldgoals inside the 10 in the first half
You guys complain about how conservative Kirk is, I'd rather play for the win for once. I like the aggressive play call. If you don't get it they start from their own 10.
The line between aggressive and reckless is pretty fine. But that's why he makes the $$.
Horrible non call by the refs on the PI. We will never know for sure but I expect things like that are embarrassing come Monday morning when the Big Ten evaluates game performance by the crews.
I disagree with this. Kick the FG and then have to kick off into the wind. Field position is a big deal on the road on a windy day.

Maybe not the best call in that situation. But Wisconsin has more talent and depth than us, we're on the road, and KF probably knows that the only way to win this game is to knock the Badgers out. Just trying to stay even with them isn't going to get it done today.

Nothing wrong with the 4th down call. It was the 3rd down play call that was bad on that drive.
If KF wanted to go for it, then might as well passed on both downs instead of running a not 100% Daniels up the gut

sloppy game so far.....both teams look very average. Is the wind a cross wind or is it moving up and down the field?
