I use the FG as well and then the double pitzen as I mentioned earlier for the lure.

I remember learning the FG and I hated it. Now it's pretty easy.

If I don't have my 2.5x cheaters on I'm screwed though for knots! LOL

I'm getting there (45), unfortunately. If the kids are with me I've had to have them help me tie if it's dusk/dawn.

I'd keep the thing alive. Do the DNR thing and let it go. Can always do a replica.

Old man caught a big 7lb 10oz lmb in one of our farm ponds 20ish years ago - he mounted it. I still give him shit for that to this day. I get it's his (their) fish, but I want the waters that we're fishing to flourish.
