Actually yes. Like the millions of newcomers to this country since the 1800’s who came before them, they come here, take jobs many Americans don’t want to do (Agriculture, Slaughterhouses, construction) and buy homes that are in lower cost areas and in need of repairs. That’s not a criticism - it’s a statement of fact. Legal immigrants do this and it’s a good thing for this country.

Yeah, they're both politicos spinning things to their benefit, but at least there is a somewhat substantive discussion of important issues, with mostly respectful disagreement and back and forth. That used to be a given but not so much anymore. Please God let Trump get his disease-ridden hands out of our politics. I'd actually really prefer a principled conservative view on the table, especially at the federal level, but Trump is a ****ing cancer to this whole process.

Conservatives should have issues such as stream lining the federal employees. Thus reducing the budget and tackling the deficit. Also free market principles around forming trade alliances against China etc etc. Instead of whatever gnat catches Trump’s interest.
