I thought fatigue was hurting Clark's shot at the end of Iowa's season, that was like 3 months of basketball ago.
Clark is officially 0-4 from three. It's really 0-5 because she missed her first shot and was bailed out by a foul on the landing.
The offseason can't come soon enough for Clark. She needs to re-learn how to shoot that three.
Smith and Fagbenle are horrendous this game. Can’t defend or score.
Prior to the last game, she was 14-28 from three in the three games before that…her shot is fine. She’s having a couple of off nights as most shooters do.
And develop a midrange shot.
It's a 9-pt game at halftime. If Clark hits a single three and Smith makes her FTs, it's a 1-pt game. They can't afford 0-fers from both of them.
I think it's mental and physical fatigue now. The Olympic break will hopefully do her well.
F*** it, if I'm Sides, I actually would tell Caitlin for the rest of the 3rd Qtr you're only allowed to shoot mid range shots. Otherwise you have to look to pass.

If you matched her against Shaq in a race to see who makes a FT first, the world would probably end before we got a winner..............

Terrible hands and slow feet on defense. The scouting report on KLS: take her to the rim if she is guarding you one-on-one.
Samuelson’s value is as a 3PT threat and lately not much of a threat.
2 games ago CC was 42% against Seattle from 3. Jackie Young is a tough defender and is making her work for shots. Think that's playing a significant role. Smith and Kate Lou struggling as well. Could be worse than down 9

I don't mind Mitchell taking any shot she wants. She's makes a lot of them.
Mentioned earlier that I didn't know who she was going to guard. Seemed like an odd change to the lineup considering who they were playing. Gray is too big for Clark or Mitchell and Clark can't stay in front of Plum. Tough matchups for Indiana.

I can't decide if the officiating or the quality of play is worse.
The Fever have missed 6 FTs and have shot 15% from three and 36% overall and are somehow only down 5.
The Fever are still in it because the Aces are ice cold, too.
