How the hell do the Fever always leave someone wide open on the perimeter all the time?
Welp, sometimes your opponent just can't miss and there isn't much you can do about it. Bummer.
CLark’s bad pass and TO were a killer when the Fever were only down a point.
Caitlin only 2 rebounds and 2 assists away from another triple double. That abomination of a third quarter was just too much to overcome.
They havn't been good at guarding the 3 all year.

the refs turned the game around for Minnesota IMO. But they still may have won as Fever paniced.

The 29-12 third quarter was the killer. 14 turnovers didn't help, either.
Giving up 99 points is inexcusable.
Minnesota has a great chance of being in the WNBA Finals, so this is a game the Fever can learn from.

CC needs to take the lay up when she has the opportunity/advantage versus trying to make a great pass. But she still had a good game. The Fever need a 4 that can play defense and shoot.
got it down to 1 a couple times
had a chance to take the lead on a fast break but they turned it over; MN then went the other way, missed, got the offensive rebound and nailed a 3 pointer. That was a killer 5 point swing right there.
And they sure didn’t blow their whistles when the Fever were getting molested on their shots in the lane either.

I guess the crazy thing is that Cc has raised the bar SO high that people act like she's not going to make a mistake from time to time, or force one of those passes that she so often connects on. So many of her crazy assists wouldn't even be attempted by a lot of players. The Lynx played a hell of a game especially on the defensive end, and all the Fever players, (including CC) let the zebras get to them in that third quarter. Lets see what this young teams learns from watching the tape of this game especially the 2nd half.
Minny played a really tough game. Well prepared. When I say tough I mean that when Indy got it close at the end, they kept going hard.
Megan started and played 17 minutes. She did not take a shot or a FT and ended up with 0 points, 4 rebounds (1 offensive) and 1 assist.
Kate Martin played 3 minutes and did not take a shot. She was 1-2 from the FT line for 1 point, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks. She had 1 foul.
Pretty accurate. Starters weren’t doing as much in that first half, but bench was. Then starters came alive in second half. They’re a team I enjoy watching when we’re not playing them. Oh well, we won at Minny and for that first half, showed could hang with them. Good chance we see them again…
5-10 from three is good. However, CC's typically-efficient inside-the-arc game kinda let her down tonight. You know she is very unhappy with 3-11. The Lynx' tough defense was not allowing her to get layups tonight.
Nice. Would much rather see them in the playoffs vs. Minnesota.
