" ...current general manager Lin Dunn is being moved within the organization and given the role of Senior Advisor to Fever Basketball."
I searched, and until I see anything to the contrary, I'm standing pat lol.So, the Dunce Dunn is not Done?
Get to a spot. She'll find you.
That one's kinda dumb. A huge number of WNBA players accumulated less than 10 assists in their career. Think of all the Dyaisha Fairs and Maddy Siegrists.
I disagree. Thinking of all the dyaisha fairs underscores how tight the funnel is, and how impressive the feat is.That one's kinda dumb. A huge number of WNBA players accumulated less than 10 assists in their career. Think of all the Dyaisha Fairs.
I understand where you are coming from. But that stat taken in a vacuum is misleading. I would bet that Kate Martin has more assists in her rookie year than 25% of all wnba players in their career.I disagree. You would be wrong. Kate Martin has 30 career assists, putting her 589 of 706 players, which is in about the bottom 16% not the top 25%.*I understand where you are coming from. But that stat taken in a vacuum is misleading. I would bet that Kate Martin has more assists in her rookie year than 25% of all wnba players in their career.
Just because most wnba players have a far more abbreviated career.
You read it wrong. I was saying she was better than 25 percent, putting her at the 26th percentile. I'm fine with the number you cited being illustrative of my point. You would be wrong. 16% < 25%, even if I had typed bottom 25% instead of top 25%You read it wrong. I was saying she was better than 25 percent, putting her at the 26th percentile. I'm fine with the number you cited being illustrative of my point.
Well duh. But lets not lose the forest for the trees here. A benchwarmer who has only played one season has more assists than 1/6 of the players who ever set foot on a WNBA court. That's even crazier than the CC stat.16% < 25%
I willing to stand down and call it a draw.Well duh. But lets not lose the forest for the trees here. A benchwarmer who has only played one season has more assists than 1/6 of the players who ever set foot on a WNBA court. That's even crazier than the CC stat.
Likewise.I willing to stand down and call it a draw.
It will be interesting to see 2025 stats for everyone. I think her assists will spike and be 12+ per game, and her points will stay about the same. I think she will take less shots but shoot at a higher percentage. I think Boston’s points take a hit, but her assists should go up. I think Mitchell stays the same, and Howard and Bonner average 13-15, and Cunningham 7-10.Well here is some info can make both Wondergrape and Tenacious E happy. Clark broke the single season assist #, in her rookie season, by a margin of 20.
Clark averaged 8.4 assists per game. I looked at the all-time top 10 assist leaders and only 1 (Vandersloot) ever had seasons averaging more than 8. Vandersloot has been pretty amazing actually. She had a 5-yr stretch where she averaged 8.8 assists per game.
There are only 3 players between her and the magical 25% that played less games than Martin and 6 who got above her in less minutes.Well duh. But lets not lose the forest for the trees here. I think there is a slight chance you are missing the point. There are only 3 players between her and the magical 25% that played less games than Martin and 6 who got above her in less minutes.
