Outside of UCONN, I'm not the sure about the next 3 games and it gets worse after that…
On a positive note, I honestly think it looks like she had chosen to play through this, but as they begin to evaluate everything, it was dramatically affecting the way she got her shot off. Someone that is a “real jump” shooter that gets their whole body into their shot. It can greatly affect things, and I believe I read her shot was consistently off to the right. So I don’t think it’s tragic, but I also think it’s a whole season worry.
They looked horrible last night.

If Christine Brennan is taking issue with the WNBA's policies and practices being too far in a certain direction - you know they have a problem!
In golf - something like a player or a fan coughing or shouting during his back swing would have been more of a realistic problem that could be compared to what the WNBA is seemingly accepting. Never happened in golf. Golf embraced Woods and it certainly grew the game. The league has allowed the players to rule the roost and the barn door has been left wide open.
Just caught this….”Libertyville”… must’ve been a Freudian slip thinking about my hometown…😂 Not sure how many people would know about Libertyville, but I grew up on a farm about a mile outside of town. It’s a very small “Burg” in southern Iowa about 10-15 minutes from Fairfield, where I went to high school.
There is not another sports league in the world, at least that I know of, that is like the soap opera this particular league is.
Not trying to be a jerk, because I know they’re several women on this sports board, including @3boysmom who is typically pretty supportive of my thoughts, 😊 but it has to be because unlike most sports. Its fan base surely must be well over 50% women.
The amount of emotion and drama and “reality TV” aspects that are routinely forced to the forefront has to be estrogen driven?! I mean right 🤷♂️
Again, not trying to be an asshole. I have a wife, and let me tell you she’s serious, and literally makes fun of me for watching all these women’s basketball games, but this league is bizarre to me and the way it’s covered. I’ve said it before, but it’s very much like a Tele Novella.

Anyone else mildly concerned that we could possibly blow this game tonight? I don’t wanna lose to Connecticut or Chicago either for that matter… Honestly, I’m not that concerned about trending at 500 in the near future because although the liberty are the best team, they are definitely beatable as are the Minnesota Lynx … But I don’t know that we want to lose 4-6 games in a row

Yes, and here’s the thing I doubt it’s much of a surprise to anybody that I’m a pretty emotional dude myself, but I can separate myself. I've watched a few different games so far this year not named the Fever.
The MAJORITY of the teams are BAD.
Not trying to dog on the WNBA, but it's easy to see why nobody watched before CC.
