Hello Hawkeye fans!!! It is 5-0 Iowa's Homecoming game against 4-1 Illinois. How many people actually believed that Iowa would be 5-0 at this point. Iowa is a big favorite in the game, favored by more than 10 points. Can the defense continue to keep opponents out of the endzone on the ground? Can the offense 'recover' from last week's below average performance? Illinois is hurting in the running game, but from different articles it seems their passing game is strong presenting a challenge to the Iowa defense. Pressure by the front 7 of Iowa can negate that Illinois advantage. Iowa's running game should be able to have a strong day against Illinois. Iowa's special teams have been good so far and hopefully that will continue. I missed the opening of the game last week. Did Wisconsin win the toss and elect to receive or did Iowa win and defer? I think Iowa has a good breakout game and puts Illinois away. Illinois scores between 7-13 and Iowa scores 28-34. GO HAWKEYES!!!
