WRONG I've only predicted Iowa basketball to lose twice this year! Most times I hold off on making a prediction.

Both teams getting a warning for "extracurricular activity", I've seen more antics from Penn State than Iowa. I bet Iowa will be the one to get T'd up when it's all said and done.

Exactly that lost the Maryland game and Indiana game and well on their way to losing this one for that reason.

We did foul on that last play. Refs decided not to cal it. Essentially have PSU a soccer style advantage call
Poor interior defense, poor perimeter defense, and poor rebounding. Lucky we're not in a deeper hole.

Do teams have the Hawks figured out? Honestly probably a 20-25 ranked team. Struggling late in the season with a veteran group….Rough road ahead too.
Clemmons and Gessell both point to Garner on the last play and neither player guards him. Defense is embarrassing. The zone isn't working at all. Guys play too lazy in it.

The defensive intensity isn't there. PSU was on fire but they aren't uncomfortable at all. Just zero intensity
You are probably right. Foul any harder and we'll get the intentional call like Jok got. Still sad that they didn't foul sooner. Will we see man d in second half? Is Fran baiting them?
Agreed, Uthoff needs to get untracked. Woodbury needs to cover the post better. Good half time azz chewing maybe they'll come out 2nd half and play like they should.
MG has been absolutely awful tonight. Clemons not much better. By my count, they have both missed 2 lay ups. Uhl has given them nothing. Probably not going to end well for the Hawks tonight.
I thought Gesell or somebody grabbed the driver on that play and it should have been called a foul. These refs apparently know more than everyone else though.
FRAN GET THE EFF OUT OF THE ZONE, teams have figured out how to beat us in the zone, the overload one side, swing it fast to the other side and boom wide open 3. The zone has given up 5 WIDE open 3's and multiple easy looks inside. If you want to go zone at least go to a 3-2 zone to protect the 3. Woody and Uthoff can cover the paint just fine. On offense everyone has gone timid and is scared to shoot and when they do they are short arming it.
No way PSU shoots as well second half or uthoff and the Hawks shoot as bad as we did in the first.
We're fine and I still expect to walk out with a win but not sure what happened to the Iowa team who were world beaters a month ago. We've turned in to the pass around the perimeter and shoot a three late team of years past.

Exactly, the main reason this one is close is because of the stupid zone.
A, they are geting good looks out of it and b we can't rebound.
Scrap that sh!t and play real defense.
