It's so crazy that there's no post-ejection penalty. He could have been cheating for some time. They should at least reset the count on the current batter or give the current batter first base or something. Wild.

Iowa 1st base coach wanted a piece of some loudmouth cheater in the Mich dugout. Ump intervened.

Yeah, it's weirdly like there isn't any penalty. The current pitcher has to leave the game, but it's not like the cheating team is really put at a significant disadvantage. It's obviously a little more impactful given the tournament setting, but why not take a shot?

Yeah, this makes zero sense. The player was caught red handed cheating but there is no penalty other than the pitcher getting ejected.
Without question. I’m pissed that the Michigan coaches would allow this!

The cheating pitcher isnt the reason Iowa is down 4-1, but it sure as hell leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Especially since you know it's not the first time and Michigan's coach seems complicit in it.
