Sandfort has really struggled past few games. All things considered only down 2 at half will take it.
A passive offensive half from Murray.

2 sloppy plays by Payton in the last minute. He's really forcing it.
Alright, only down 2 after that just sucky first half - aside from Ulis' stroke and Bowen showing out a few times.
Not ideal to be trailing, but could have been a lot worse.

Might be better off starting ulis or Bowen here pretty soon if he keeps struggling
Very shaky ball handler, when dribbling up court or around the perimeter, with a "tough" defense like TCU's.

Frankly the team looks shaky. The players know that they will get pushed, grabbed, hacked, and held and the refs won't blow the whistle.
Very impressed with Bowen. Kid has some moves.
Trying to be the show. Needs to pass off to a open player.
If he has 3 opponents around him somebody has to be open

PS seems to be quick shooting, loosing ball, falling down, at least he’s on the O Boards
Anyone else think TCU crossed the line there when they grabbed Iowa’s Dix on that one possession?
The speed of the game is what freshman usually have problems with initially.

Its very easy to sit back and say "they gotta learn to play through it". And that is true.
But sure, it works great in theory, but when most of your guys are slighter of build [PMac/Kris, etc] and their offensive style is more finesse-patterned, a defensive style combined with BIGger players to go against, like TCU/Rutgers/Wisconsin/MSU and those types, their always going to get pushed around and look "weak".
Pretty clear Sandfort and Pmac are not the best options for this game. No clue why Fran put them both back in while sitting Bowen and Ulis. Gut check time for Kris in the second half. If he wants to be the man, he better start playing like it. Really disappointed in how passive he has been in this tournament. Go up and dunk on somebody and stop with the Euro finger rolls.
